In addition to facilities owned by the University of Split, teaching activities in the undergraduate university study programme in Mediterranean Agriculture are also conducted at teaching bases with which the University has concluded formal agreements.

Based on Article 73 of the Statute of the University of Split and Article 3 of the Rulebook on Teaching Bases of the University of Split, the role of teaching bases is to connect practice, science, and research through the implementation of certain parts of teaching and professional practice. The goal is to provide students with practical knowledge, skills, and competencies.

Below is a list of teaching bases and their respective teaching capacities with which the University of Split has signed Teaching Base Agreements:

  1. CEKOM 3LJ, Poljičke Republike 15, 21240 Trilj: Laboratories and equipment for production, processing, and refinement of plant products, isolation of plant components (CO₂ extraction), sensory analysis laboratory for food, wine, and olive oil, chemical laboratory.

  2. Braća Radić High School, Put poljoprivrednika 5, 21216 Kaštel Štafilić: Greenhouses for growing ornamental and dendrological plants, greenhouses for vegetable cultivation, wine cellar for oenological processes, chemical lab, herb and spice garden, veterinary clinic, food technology lab for food research and beer production, agricultural land with various fruit crops.

  3. Dalmaconsult d.o.o., Poljička cesta - Dočine 1, 21310 Omiš (Terra Marascae): Plantation cultivation and production of marasca cherries, sweet cherries, medicinal herbs (lavender, immortelle); processing and production of fruit juices, liqueurs, etc.

  4. Puđa d.o.o., Čaporice 133, 21240 Čaporice: Facilities for processing milk and dairy products, production of cheese flavored with extracts of medicinal and aromatic herbs.

  5. Pršut-Voštane d.o.o., Čaporice 145, 21240 Trilj: Production, sales, and distribution of cured meat products, HACCP system implemented.

  6. Stella mediterranea d.o.o., Mihovilovići 21A, 21231 Klis: Ethno-agro park with a garden rich in diverse botanical species, traditional agricultural production (olives, figs, almonds, citrus), production of local delicacies, rural and agro-tourism.

  7. JAKO VINO d.o.o., Riva 16, 21420 Bol: 50 hectares of vineyards with over 350,000 vines of indigenous grape varieties, winery with equipment for wine processing and storage.

  8. Grabovac Winery, Križnog puta 17, 21264 Donji Proložac: 25 hectares of vineyards of indigenous grape varieties, winery with processing and storage equipment.

  9. SULET GRUPA d.o.o., Pod Kosom 45, Split: Cultivates 8.7 hectares of vineyards of indigenous grape varieties on the islands of Šolta and Kaštela. Owns the Markus Winery in Kaštela, a modern facility producing wines using various vinification and aging methods. This facility enables students to learn about key wine production procedures.

  10. OPG SIKULI, Put Banovine 6, 21216 Kaštel Novi and Stari: Cultivates 1.3 hectares of indigenous grape varieties in Kaštela; owns a winery that produces wines typical of Dalmatia. It serves as a good example of optimal production practices, where students can participate in the full production process with an emphasis on quality control in small wineries.

  11. Dalmacijalov d.o.o., Gupčeva 10, 21000 Split - State Open Hunting Ground XVII/9 "Mosor": Field teaching - visual identification of native and non-native animal species, demonstration of hunting and game management infrastructure, practical wildlife monitoring methods, human-wildlife coexistence in settlements, and assessment of wildlife-related damage.

  12. Brački Vrtli d.o.o., Fra Bone Razmilovića 4a, 21000 Split: 20 hectares of almond orchards with various varieties located in the Selački hamlets on the island of Brač.

  13. Saint Hills d.o.o., Nova Ves 11, 10000 Zagreb: Vineyards with indigenous grape varieties in Komarna and Dingač (Dalmatia), and Radovani (Istria).
