Overall Project Objective (OPO):
To develop market-competitive, innovative food products and dietary supplements by strengthening scientific research capacities and conducting research in plant biodiversity, morphology, genetics, and biochemistry of Mediterranean plant species, while respecting the principles of sustainability and the circular economy.
The project objective aligns with three strategic objectives:
• Strategic Objective 1: Enhancement of scientific excellence
• Strategic Objective 2: Strengthening cooperation with the business sector and fostering national and regional identity and culture
• Strategic Objective 4: Strengthening social responsibility
